About Lavender Art Studios
Lavender Art Studios is based in Canberra , Australia . The Art Program is now in it's 12th year of operation and the business name has recently changed from Reflections of Antiquity to “Lavender Art Studios”. Greg Devenny- Mackay is the principal creator within the diverse portfolio of art for sale and artistic programs. Elita Mackay teaches creative writing, poetry, drama, and yoga and is also a Business Consultant within the framework of all the programs and art sales.
Lavender Art Studios is a multifaceted arts practise which makes substantial donations to ethical associations such as The Wilderness Society, Save the Children, Green Peace, Oxfam and The World Wild Life Fund. The studios are professionally fitted out with all the necessary equipment and art supplies to enable us to create art works to the highest standard.
There are two studios, Greg's visual art studio and Elita's professional writing studio. The interior decorating is that of “lavender” in colorants and it is embedded in a soft lavender garden. Lavender, being a fragrance of healing, restoring, balance and harmony, means Lavender Art Studios brings the combination of art and yoga into a beautiful simplistic form, which is accessible to all. Lavender Art Studios is distinctive in style and taste, excellent in service delivery and offers warm and friendly advice. This advice is firmly based on experience working with children and adults within the context of program delivery and the sale of original works of art, limited edition prints and commissioned pieces.
