Adult art class program

Life drawing & painting life models including nude models with Greg Devenny-Mackay

Greg works with beginners through to the confident artist

Using charcoal, conte, pencils, pastel, acrylics, watercolour, pen & ink wash, oil paints and mixed media.

Student finishing a live paintingFocusing on drawing and painting mainly from life covering figure and portraiture, still life, landscapes, cityscapes and many other subjects including contemporary and abstract creations.

This wonderful experience is set in a dynamic framework. The creation of individual distinctive pieces, ensures the originality and personal creativity of each art work remains with the participating artist.

The adult program is firmly established and respected being well known throughout the Canberra arts community for its continuing success.

Adult art classes program details - join at any time during the term
Duration: 8 weeks (held during regular school terms)
Term dates for 2010 Term 1: Sunday 7th Feb - Tuesday 30th March
Term 2: Sunday 2nd May - Tuesday 22nd June
Term 3: Sunday 25th July - Tuesday 14th Sept
Term 4: Sunday 17th October - Tuesday 7th December
Day of each class: Sundays afternoons &
Tuesday evenings
Class times: Sunday afternoon: 2:30pm to 5:00pm (2½ hours)
Tuesday evening: 7:00pm to 9:00pm (2 hours)

Program fees: $330 per term
Included artistic excursions: Students will also enjoy gallery visits and field trip excursions to draw and paint.
