Young Peoples Art Classes
For 8 to 19 year olds
This art program is respected throughout Australia and overseas. It is made successful by head teacher and owner of Lavender Art Studios, Greg Devenny-Mackay; and, assistant teachers, whom Greg has trained as art students through the Lavender Art Programs.
These exciting and artistically progressive art classes have been devised especially by Greg to help art students grasp inspiration and insights into the creative experience; creating drawings and paintings with supreme results.
Students focus on drawing and painting; covering still life, clothed figure, portraiture, landscape, cityscape and many other subjects using a varied range of techniques and media. The relaxation, enjoyment and therapeutic nature of being an art student at Lavender Art Studios also aids many other important areas of young students lives.
Also, please note; all the Lavender Art Studios Art Classes and Art Services are managed and directed by trained and experienced Community Service Youth Welfare Professionals. Along with two art teachers, a studio manager/care supervisor is in attendance at every art workshop.
The art program on offer at Lavender Art Studios; inclusive of the art classes and specialised art workshops is determined in it's entirety by Greg Devenny - Mackay.
Extra Inclusions: art excursions/live harp music!
Students will also enjoy gallery visits and field trip excursions to experience drawing and painting. The weekly young people's art classes are complemented by live harp music.
