We have now settled into the art school for Term 1: 2019 and what a time of artistic bliss it has been. We have a really wonderful art program set in place for all art students and have began to deliver the unique dedicated, youthful but learned art experience in the young people’s art classes. The adult program that is also taught by Greg Devenny - Mackay and is fully set in motion for a great time of artistic experience and learning. All those who attend the art classes on a regular basis know the studio to be a full and rich artistic endeavour and also positioned in a non - competitive environment. The studio is free of the need to do anything other than to: experience creating/learning, be in the expressive moment and enjoy the company of other like-minded people who absolutely love visual art! This is Lavender Art Studios; operating art classes at the peak of creativity and offering a relaxed, caring, professional art studio for all those who participate. We are very pleased to welcome all art students to the new term of creative art classes. Elita: Art Studio Manager

More Than an Art Class

At Lavender Art Studios, students become part of a progressive, professional art-learning environment where skills, confidence and creativity are developed over time. Our highly experienced teaching team provides demonstrations, individual guidance and ongoing support throughout each class, with multiple members of our studio team working within the art workshop environment. This allows students to receive assistance as they need it while also developing the confidence and independence to create their own artwork.

A Place to Grow as an Artist

Established in 1999, Lavender Art Studios offers a dedicated studio environment where children, young people and adults can continue developing their art practice over many years. Students are introduced to an extensive range of traditional and contemporary media and are encouraged to build skills as they progress. From our youngest Little Lavenders through to teenage specialised workshops and adult art classes, our focus remains on quality teaching, individual artistic development and the enjoyment of creating art.

Lavender Art Studios Opens Possibilities

Whether creating art for enjoyment, personal development or a future creative profession, learning art at Lavender Art Studios opens artistic possibilities towards building artistic skills, confidence, creativity and a lifelong appreciation of the visual arts. Many of our students have gone on to undertake tertiary studies in the arts, pursue creative professions, exhibit their work, and receive awards and recognition for their artistic achievement.

Lavender Art Studios acknowledges First Australians and recognises their continuous connection to country, community and culture. We acknowledge the Ngunnawal and Ngambri People as the Traditional Owners of the land we live and work on.
