A Beautifully Productive Week in the Studio!

At Lavender Art Studios, we have enjoyed a peaceful, relaxing, and beautifully productive week in the studio. We have been quieter online for a little while, and too busy to post, as the days have been very full — filled with creativity, thoughtful teaching, and the gentle rhythm of studio life.

It has been a week rich in making, learning, and shared focus, and we are enjoying all that is artistically wonderful, nourishing, and nurturing within the studio space.

We warmly welcome both new and returning art students with care and attentiveness, and we are looking ahead with enthusiasm to the remainder of the term, including our much-anticipated Term Art Excursion.

For adults enrolled in our Adult Art Classes, we are pleased to offer a specialised two-day drawing workshop on Sunday 8 March and Monday 9 March. Adults who have attended classes or workshops with us previously are also welcome to contact Elita to discuss booking into this focused and enriching drawing experience.

Also, our Friday morning adult art class offers a calm, very laid-back way to ease into the weekend. It’s a space to slow down, create thoughtfully, and enjoy the company of like-minded, genuinely lovely people who share a love of art and learning.

To join us or to discuss availability, please contact Elita. 0412 649 770.

More Than an Art Class

At Lavender Art Studios, students become part of a progressive, professional art-learning environment where skills, confidence and creativity are developed over time. Our highly experienced teaching team provides demonstrations, individual guidance and ongoing support throughout each class, with multiple members of our studio team working within the art workshop environment. This allows students to receive assistance as they need it while also developing the confidence and independence to create their own artwork.

A Place to Grow as an Artist

Established in 1999, Lavender Art Studios offers a dedicated studio environment where children, young people and adults can continue developing their art practice over many years. Students are introduced to an extensive range of traditional and contemporary media and are encouraged to build skills as they progress. From our youngest Little Lavenders through to teenage specialised workshops and adult art classes, our focus remains on quality teaching, individual artistic development and the enjoyment of creating art.

Lavender Art Studios Opens Possibilities

Whether creating art for enjoyment, personal development or a future creative profession, learning art at Lavender Art Studios opens artistic possibilities towards building artistic skills, confidence, creativity and a lifelong appreciation of the visual arts. Many of our students have gone on to undertake tertiary studies in the arts, pursue creative professions, exhibit their work, and receive awards and recognition for their artistic achievement.

Lavender Art Studios acknowledges First Australians and recognises their continuous connection to country, community and culture. We acknowledge the Ngunnawal and Ngambri People as the Traditional Owners of the land we live and work on.
