What a start to the term! Following our inspiring School Holiday Art Program and the unforgettable High Country Art Retreat, our students, teachers, and professional supports have all settled into a steady and vibrant rhythm of creativity.
We are now looking ahead with great anticipation to our upcoming art excursion to the National Gallery, along with a rich program of diverse workshops set to unfold across the studio in the coming weeks. Among these are our Teenage Art Workshops, scheduled for the 1st and 2nd of June—an exciting opportunity for young artists to further develop their skills and artistic voice.
Our adult art classes continue to flourish. The Thursday evening class offers a calm and focused environment—ideal for full-time workers seeking time to unwind and reconnect with their creativity. Friday mornings bring a lively, social energy to the studio, where students start their weekends with joyful engagement in art and warm connections with fellow artists.
We are also pleased to revisit a special project that has become a favourite in the studio. Some years ago, we acquired a striking design from the Guggenheim Museum shop in New York City, which has since become a treasured part of our printmaking program. This resource offers students a meaningful, hands-on introduction to contemporary design and artistic interpretation. We are excited to present this popular printmaking workshop once again as part of our July 25 School Holiday Art Workshops, designed especially for our younger students.
