Term 4: 2024 Young People's Term Art excursion!

This weekend marks the much-anticipated young people's outdoor art excursion, an immersive experience where creativity unfolds in a setting alive with artistic inspiration. As we step beyond the studio, we embrace the lessons nature itself provides—an extension of our high country work and the artistry seamlessly woven into every detail of our surroundings, from expansive spring waterscapes reflecting the gentle hues of the season to artistic inclusions subtly embedded in the natural setting. Our head teachers bring their extensive understanding of working from nature and 25 years of leading local outdoor art excursions to guide the young students. Join us as we bring forward our developing pieces, inspired by the lively rhythms and organic shapes of the natural world, complemented by thoughtfully integrated artistic elements. This is more than an excursion; it brings together young artists eager to observe, capture, and share their unique perspectives. It is a gentle opportunity to socialize, exchange ideas, and draw inspiration from one another while surrounded by an environment that enriches vision and practice.The day will be filled with exploration, mindful creation, and moments to pause and appreciate both nature’s and human’s creative expressions.
